1 Cor 14 1 6 Whoever Prophesies Builds Up The Church
1Corinthians 14(1 Cor 14, 1-6) Whoever prophesies builds up the church Work love, but suffer unhesitatingly for the spiritual gifts, on top of all that you may revelation. For one who speaks in a discourse does not speak to human beings but to God, for no one listens; he utters mysteries in spirit. On the other hand, one who prophesies does speak to human beings, for their semi-detached up, backing, and cream. Whoever speaks in a discourse builds himself up, but whoever prophesies builds up the church. Now I requirement in the manner of all of you to speak in tongues, but even condescending to revelation. One who prophesies is better than one who speaks in tongues, unless he interprets, so that the church may be built up. Now, brothers, if I requirement come to you talking in tongues, what good request I do you if I do not speak to you by way of scare, or knowledge, or prophecy, or instruction?(CCC 2595) The prophets summoned the run to exchange of creature and, like passionately seeking the section of God, in the manner of Elijah, they interceded for the run. (CCC 201) To Israel, his future, God revealed himself as the lone One: "Give it a go, O Israel: the Member of the aristocracy our God is one Lord; and you shall love the Member of the aristocracy your God with all your creature, and with all your ghost, and with all your vigor" (Dt 6:45). By way of the prophets, God calls Israel and all nations to turn to him, the one and lone God: "Move to me and be saved, all the ends of the earth! For I am God, and present-day is no other.... To me every round shall bow, every discourse shall give surety. lone in the Member of the aristocracy, it shall be hypothetical of me, are truthfulness and strength" (Isa 45:22-24; cf. Phil 2:10-11). (CCC 218) In the course of its history, Israel was cost-effective to adopt that God had lone one acquit to reveal himself to them, a personality give rise to for choosing them from along with all peoples as his special possession: his wholly meaningless love (Cf. Deut 4:37; 7:8; 10:15). And acknowledgment to the prophets Israel assumed that it was another time out of love that God never stopped cheap them and pardoning their betrayal and sins (Cf. Isa 43:1-7; Hos 2). (CCC 2584) In their "one to one" encounters with God, the prophets assume light and strength for their throw. Their prayer is not flow from this false world, but more willingly keenness to the Falsehood of God. At period their prayer is an lawsuit or a protest, but it is always an intercession that awaits and prepares for the intervention of the Champion God, the Member of the aristocracy of history (Cf. Am 7:2, 5; Isa 6:5, 8, 11; Jer 1:6; 15:15-18; 20:7-18).
